This is the prize art for who won second place in 's Wedding Contest with this amazing piece:

She requested her OC Lucia in Italian clothing from around 1500. So again, I have been very, VERY lucky and happy with the request I received

Lucia is one of the main characters in Wickfield's webseries Fooled, which you can find here: fooled-story.blogspot.nl/
It's an awesome story and I encourage you all to check it out.

For this piece I took many references from Wickfield's own drawings of course. She already gave Lucia a great wardrobe so it was hard to find something that hadn't already been done. The rest of the drawing is mainly inspired by the Borgia's (for instance the cap which Lucrezia wears in the episodes before her marriage which has the sort of tassle like things on the side) and the paintings of Lucas Cranach the Elder. Yes, Cranach was German and not Italian, but I just love the way he portrays dresses! Especially the folds which I tried to incorporate.
