Which technique have you used when you were making the mask's eyes? How did you make them?

These are exquisite, but you already knew that.Β Β I'm the maker of a fairly accurate Happy Mask Salesman cosplay, and your mask is spot on. All of it's perfect really. If I lose my legs I'm totally going to copy your design and make one for myself. Not that I use my legs much anyway. Sorry that I don't have any of my costume pics up tho. I just posted my first art today.
Keep on being awesome!

May I ask, how did you make de red part? Is it one piece or more pieces together? And where did you start? Thanks!Β

I know you said that there isn't a pattern for the skull kid but I was wondering if you could possibly write up your pattern for the purple heart balloon shape that forms theΒ base of the mask. I've been desperately trying to recreate it(and falling flat)Β so that I can make the mask to hang upon my wall. I'm sure I could improvise the rest but it's the base that's getting me. If you don't want to then I understand but I would be eternally grateful if you could.

The mask itself is double-layered. Β I worked in rounds and basically started making a half-sphere, except I flattened it out to make sort of a semi-circle. Β I fastened off one side first, then started on the second semi-circle. Β When they were about the same size, I continued to crochet along the first semi-circle I made, which gives it the continuous look. Β I then decreased slowly each round so that it would taper at the tip to make a heart shape. Β I hope that makes sense! Β I don't know if I can go back and write a pattern since I would have to re-make it and I'm so busy right now! Β Sorry about that!

It's alright. I couldn't tell that it was double layered from the picture and I'm glad you mentioned that. I had thought you came up with a single layered design and that was what I was trying to replicate. Thank you for taking the time to reply to my post.

That is a very nice pattern but since I want to make one (possibly two as my fiancΓ© might want one as well) to hang upon a wall I need a pattern that is half a heart so that the backside is empty. I will however probably make these hearts as well at some point so thank you for the pattern link anyways. ^^

Yes, that is a really good gradient technique. Thank you. Taking notes here. This is most likely going to be of great help for me in the future ^^

I want to make a throw pillow sized version and sell the pattern in my shop. Since making a triforce pillow I've been on this kick designing throw pillows. I don't know when I'll get to making it but I'll definitely let you know!

What yarn did you use on the spikes? And goodness, it came out great! Very even work. (I wish my stitches and sewing jobs were that even, just so you know how much I admire that~) C:
I can't wait to see Skull Kid finished! x3

Oooh, nice! x3
And I didn't mean the sewing, I was talking about the crocheting itself. x3 But the sewing everything together looks great too. C: Your amigurumi always has such a neat, clean look about it, if that makes sense? C:

Oh! I must be out of it haha I guess that just happens when you crochet too much @_@ I'm also a stickler on counting and symmetry so maybe that somehow helps?
