Np hon!!
Is this still available? And is shipping included? Once I get money in my PayPal again I may consider it!

Unfortunately, that one's long gone. I ended up selling it to a good friend for around $120.
Haha, you'd have to find some teeny pine cones in order for it to look bountiful, though It wasn't much more than maybe four inches across, at its widest. Β It'd be great for pocketchangeΒ or little rocks, though!
If you're really interested, I've got a slightly smaller one (9-12 hour) with a slightly different spiral pattern (I don't think I've posted pictures of it, though). It's a sort of warm caramel-brown color, stands at about three and a half inches in diameter, and maybe two and a half inches high. I can make an effort to post it if you'd like -it's just been sitting on the edge of my bookshelf, and guarding my sewing pins.Β
If that sounds like something you'd be looking for, I'd be asking for ~$100 plus about $7 priority mail flatrate shipping (within the US) for that one I'd have to double-check the rates for out-of-country, and overseas shipping.Β
--Or I can point you toward a few resources so that you can make your own! The starting materials are super cheap, and the rest just takes time. lots and lots of time

I have to say, I am glad to see you sold it for $120! That $25 in the image is WAY TOO LOW! It is a very pretty basket. This is something I want to learn more about, I took an intro class many years ago, even have a book on pine needle basketry. Just haven't done anything with it (I do a lot of beadwork).

Thank you very much! I'm glad so many people are liking these things, and think my work is worth a lot more than I initially thought! When I made this one, I had no idea what I ought to charge, so I ended up browsing eBay, and averaging relative prices for pine baskets around that size. Guess that wasn't a very good idea, haha.
I'd definitely like to learn a bit more about it too -been keepin' an eye out for a class to crop up in my area, but for the time being, fiddling with stuff is teaching me a lot. Did you ever finish any pieces from your class? or was it mostly just technique/pattern stuff? If ypu ever get back into it, I'd love to see what you come up with!
Beadwork is tough! Lots of pattern-remembering, and bead-losing, and stuff (from what I remember of the little I've done)

Hey don't you think $25 is a bit too low for a basket like this? I mean, $2.50/hour? I'd sell this somewhere around $100 at least... Keep up the good work though!

Yeah, I hear you. It's hard to put a price to something you do but on the long run the faster you learn to do it easier it gets. People tend to undervalue their craft, no matter what it is. But as long as both sides are happy, I guess there's no harm done, right?

You're welcome. You're very talented. I couldn't do that (and not only because of my pine allergy).

I have to agree with some other commenters; charging barely $2.50 an hour for this kind of work is a total disservice. Something handmade with obvious quality like this should be in the $100-150 range easy.

Wow, this is really amazing! It takes true skill and patience to weave a sturdy basket, but with pine needles?! Now that's a different story.

i dont know if you will consider this but i think it is a little underpriced for how much time you spent on it

Or else you are practically giving the product away. It just not worth such a small amount

Agreed, you could and should be pricing this a bit higher. It would certainly be worth it.

I would raise the price to about 100$ or more?
