But wait! There's more Mando to share! I love the scarf action in this shot. Right now I'm making sure this kit is ready to go for Shadocon in just over a week. I'm super excited at another chance to wear this, especially since I'm now that I'm an official member of the MMCC! And there will more than likely be yet another photoshoot in this kit, which means even more photo dumps!

Β Such a sharp-looking mando! Love the flow of your majestic-scarf-scarf! I am very curious about your sword! That is a neat setup! Does it have second function besides stabby-stabs and slice and dice? Also, the helmet accent is very unique. I worry about the cirl's for the mandolorians in the mercs club. THey can be particular and persnickity. like to the extreme.

No sir, that is a blastsword. Made from good ol' beskar metal, it pops off a nasty blaster bolt from the muzzle at the tip of the blade.

I'm debating whether or not I should make a second one for the dual wield feels, and if I do, I don't know if I want it to be a carbon copy of this one or if I should make the more rapier-esque one as described in the books...

Huh I never read the books, All I can go off of it what I've seen on the internet and Wookiepedia. I found out about blastswords while researching blasters for writing. But if you are thinking of dual wielding I would suggest making the second one something like a large knife, with maybe a 9 inch blade. A bit more practical in my opinion and aesthetically more pleasing i think then two full length swords.Β
