Guys! I got my Official Membership within the Mandalorian Mercenaries Costume Club! After a year of hard work, constant improvements, and more than a few minor problems, my kit has finally passed inspection and is considered to be a quality costume! Words can't describe my excitement, so yesterday I went into our stock of untouched photos and prepped 12 more to help express my excitement, since you know, pictures are worth a thousand words
. Expect them to trickle in bit by bit.

Thanks boss! I'm happy to be a part of them. And they do have a codex of rules and requirements, but it's honestly all there to keep your kit looking as good as it can be. The rules can get sweltering at times, but the point of the club is near-movie quality costumes, and you're not going to get that without a few standards having to be enforced.

Ha ha, yeah. When I went to CVI, all I heard was "Your plates are too big!" The thing I said most there was, "I know, it's my first attempt", lol. And I do get why they do that.

Nice pistol! Is that the one you've been working on? I was wondering because of the lack of a Bayonet.

Thanks! And actually, that's the pistol for my Hunter Cosplay, bit it looked Swarzy enough, so I trooped with it, haha. I'm thinking about adding some inconspicuous magnets to the ender side and making a bayonet that I can take on and off, just for the heck of it.

As a thought, wouldn't a clip be a more secure way of mounting it? Thinking something coming directly out from the top of the blade that would clip into the bottom of the gun, and have a button release or something. As long as that wouldn't mean having to completely rebuild the gun...

The gun did use to have an ammunition clip that could have been easily housed to fit a blade, but I pretty much destroyed the clip opening to give it a unique, sleeker look. And the magnets I'm referring to are rare earth magnets, I use them to keep my armor attached to my vest, they work fine.

Glad you like it! It was originally gonna have some black paint mixed in there as well, but now I'm kind of glad I stayed away from that. Too many red/black kits out there.
