the lines are great, like in all your works of art. I always do like to find my own meaning in pictures, but i love your little stories behind them. Also, you do wonders with colour! I'm jealous of your skill.
since you welcome critiques....(don't be mad!) The females face kinda made me think of a "butt" head. Not sure how to fix that. Does anyone else see this or am I the only demented one?

I begin to wonder why the guy is so much smaller than the girl. Is it a child? Could it be your way of showing that some men make courting women to be a huge deal?
All the same, I love. Great work AJ!

Yes, when some men go all the way to court women, and somehow, the women look(act) like queens.
When I was drawing it, I wasn't really thinking of it in "size", so to speak, as the focus was on the girl. To be honest, the child and flower were added later as an "afterthought" thing. For me, the child conveys sincerity , trust and innocence, with a hint of modesty. Thus, the costume for the child is less detailed / colorful. As for the girl, it's probably vanity, passion or doubt, depending on how you see it. I usually intepret things by their colors and relationship(s) , so most of my characters contrast and complement each other , in their own way. (does that make sense?)
Of course, there are other ways to interpret this, so it's pretty open.
