yeah i figured, logistics are killer on militaries, got to be able to transport weapons and things effectively and efficiently.
these also remind me if you had Americanized the Tachcoma designs (google Tachcoma, Ghost in the shell).
i like this design alot, so im considering trying to make my own version on your concept. i suck at drawing and am only so so on 3d models, but i really dig it, so ill put my best foot foward (links to originals of course)

working on it now, you got specs for this thing? i think its in the realm of possibility, ill try making a compact realistic version as best i can, right now, the hardest part is getting believable hydraulics working for the compact travel storage -> operational mode. so far im getting 2 180 degree movements and 1 45* degree movement, and i have to figure out how to get toque to the wheels in each leg from the thorax placed engines.

TECHNICAL THINGS ARE THE BEST THINGS. i been bored out of my mind for the past few days, solving a puzzle like this is a great thing to keep me distracted and busy. from what i am tooling with though, i feel like its loosing alot of your charm, like me messing with it is corrupting its unique mechanical Beauty. ill keep tooling with the compacting to combat modes... but i am prolly going to loose alot of the Mechanical goodness :/

Glorious! Really love the MT00...What are the measurements on these? I know you have the scale listed as 1/12...So i'm guessing they are about 6 inches tall or so? Very cool, that MT00 would look fantastic with some 1/18 projects i am working on.
Thanks for sharing!
