Description

The calamity had been dealt with, and Hyrule could finally be rebuilt. But being displaced 100 years had left Zelda with a predicament she never expected a princess to face- she was homeless. She could hardly stay in Hyrule Castle now, with most of it lying in ruins.

Luckily, Link had a solution- she could live in his house in Hateno village. Zelda practically jumped at the chance, thanking him for his kind offer. She was glad to have a place to stay, though she started to wonder what a house owned by Link would end up like.

Upon her arrival, Zelda was surprised to see that the house was actually in good repair. It was rather more humble than she was used to, but there was space enough for her.

At least, that was her first impression. She went upstairs to find only a single bed, with one pillow. It was a far cry from the huge bed she had in the castle. She told Link as much, worrying how she would be able to sleep here.

Link frowned, thoughtful for a moment. Then he smirked and grabbed the Sheikah slate. Zelda was curious to know what his solution was. It was much more unorthadox than she expected.

Link suddenly pointed the plate towards her. Zelda was surrounded by light, and she tingled all over. To her immense surprise, she felt her body shrinking, dwindling smaller and smaller by the second. She was too stunned to object, glancing around in amazement as everything around her got bigger. When the light dissipated, she didn't even reach the top of Link's boots.

Now small, Zelda felt flustered, and a bit humiliated. The indignant princess asked Link why he had abruptly shrunk her. Rather than reply, he scooped her up in his hands. She wriggled in resistance until he placed her down on the pillow, which she discovered to be surprisingly soft.

Link climbed into the bed, taking up significantly more space than her. But Zelda found the pillow alone to be larger than any bed she had ever seen. Tired from a busy day, it wasn't long before the tiny princess was sound asleep...
