Description
Following on from Zelda's small discovery
Eventually, Zelda decided it would be prudent to restore her size to normal. The Sheikah state was not forthcoming with a solution, however. Even after all of the time she had spent studying the device, there were many runes without a known meaning. The rune that shrank her was just one of them. This meant that the reversal rune was similarly unknown. The only way to find out was to try some of them out and see their effects. So Zelda did just that.
However, her efforts did not yield immediate results. Her size was not helping matters, the princess finding it difficult to operate the slate with her tiny hands. Still, she did not give up. She was so engrossed with her research that she did not pay any attention to the opening of her bedroom door, nor to the approaching footsteps that thudded closer and closer. She was starting to see a pattern in the strange markings. Just a little more, and...
"This has to be it!" Zelda exclaimed suddenly. She stood to her full height and tapped her chosen rune with her foot.
Despite all of her efforts in identifying the mysterious rune, Zelda did not grow. Quite the opposite, in fact. She gasped in shock as she shrank even further, until she was less than half the size she was before!
"No!" She cried out in her even squeakier voice. "That wasn't the right rune!"
For the first time in her research, she felt a little out of her depth. She wondered if she should seek help from the other Sheikah researchers before risking shinking herself even further. Her thoughts still completely occupied with her plans, she did not notice the knight nearby...
