Description

The construct of necromancy requires a soul to be animated. Tormented souls, such as those of assassinated individuals, are sometimes willing to strike deals with dark mages and witches, offering their power for the chance to seek vengeance before succumbing to eternal servitude. However, these tormented souls soon find themselves facing a grim reality – their targets have long since passed away, as their own ghosts lost track of time upon death. Consequently, they direct their anger towards the descendants of their enemies or anyone they can find, becoming aimless forces of murder, growing increasingly uncontrollable and maddened, bending solely to the will of their creator.
I understand that this creation may bear some resemblance to Mokujin from Tekken, but my true inspiration came from another source. Many of you might recall those little articulated toy skeletons from your childhood. These and eerie wooden puppets served as my muse for this concept.
