Description Finally... I met up with my friend Adam. It was a perfect fit Like Cinderella and her slipper (But it's a him ) Great news... he feels the weight is perfect. I was wondering myself and have been asked that question a lot. The tip is hollowed out and the inside of the base is lined with suede leather. He feels the structure gives to strength finger since it is almost the length of the base) I can't wait for him to try it out at work. I'm really excited that I was able to do something helpful, and even life-changing with my art

This is a piece that I did for him. He lost his finger in a table saw accident. One day we were talking about how much pressure he has on his pinky because his finger was missing (and the other one was sore from the accident). Since I knew he was open minded I asked him if he would mind if I experimented with some plaster and tried to cast a "Ring Finger" from bronze. As I thought, he was all about the experiment.

(The finger is hollow bronze and has a "Tiffany Green" patina as it's coat. )

Here are some more of my casted pieces:

If you like brass and such why not try to make a steampunk finger inspired on this concept - [link]

This is so awesome. When I first saw it I thought that they persons finger was like infected, but after reading about it I think this is just fantabulous.
