A'ight I'm gonna keep this short and sweet because this page is short and incredibly, undoubtedly, I-can't-think-of-more-positive-adjectives, great.
The colors are actually really fitting. Considering it's an 'oasis', where you can visibly see heat, the pink of the flamingo flock shining on the water, reflecting off of them and a little bit in the air is a nice detail.
it is also, very very satisfying to look at.
The last one might've done a little better with a little more green but that's just a personal preference really.
The anatomy and expressions are on point, especially with Africa. Complete motherly despair and disappointment.
and going back to the flamingo i am glad you did not just make them completely pink and added the white variety to them. very realistic.

I think it's meant to show heat waves / distortions that you would see when it gets super hot outside (mirages). They started appearing when they were walking through the heat without water.

I suggest that this flamingo should be made a new symbol of haughtiness - he managed to achieve that with a single word and that disdaining glare.
