Africa, Africa, Africa. Let's do it!
Sooo new page, as promised. We left last time with Africa discussing with Chui about cubs. Well, in this page, OMG AFRICA GETS AMBUSHED, OH NO CALL REINFORC-- Wait.
It's her cubs, play-fighting with her!
So yes, there you have it. Ladies and gentlemen, Africa's children! Two furballs of pure naughtyness.
Their names? Mosi and Binti
Also, a number of you might guess at this point that Africa did something strange with their names. They are not names from any place in Africa (or anywhere really). So, why did Africa go against her mother's recommendation?
Anyway, both cubs share traits with their parents: Africa and this mysterious male (that I didn't even design, shhhhhhhh), but one of them actually looks a lot like Africa's father: Tumaini.

In fact, the cub to the right is a strawberry leopard, just like him! "Strawberry leopard" refers to a colour mutation that makes the leopard's fur look almost ginger instead of the usual tan. And because grandpa had it, I thought it would be nice if one of the cubs had this gene
Anyway, Aspi, I did promise you that I would hint to Tumaini's presence in the story, even if Tumaini himself didn't appear
As for their behaviour, leopard cubs often "ambush" Mom when she comes back from a hunt. They do that to practice the skills they will use later on, when they become adults.
So, I really hope you like this page, and I hope you like the cubs! I sure do <3 I love both of them^^

Here I am again with a new critique for the Africa series by the skilled Arven!
I checked through this page anxiously because I was genuinely worried about Africa's offsprings...that tells me Arven is doing a superb job when she's managed to make me actually worry about her characters!!! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/n/n… " width="15" height="15" alt="
I'll give the page a more careful go, let's see:
First frame: We pan off from Africa running towards the thicker clumps of vegetation in a fiml-like shot...I like the use of the "bluer, colder" background against Africa's yellowish pelt!
The worry her face expresses here is contagious...what if Chui's menaces in the former page were true?...
Second frame, Africa, panicked and even drooling in anticipated fear, peeks from behind a tree and calls her cubs, which now we know are two, and they are named Binti and Mosi...the extreme fear in her eyes is making me actually want to hug her...although I am aware that it would definitely be a bad idea if she were a real live leopard...
Third frame. There is a sudden cracking noise and Africa turns around in tension...the background and her anatomy are excelently mastered but I can't focus in anything but what's gonna happen (here is when you know the story is truly enthralling)
Fourth frame is PURE MOTION. A small feline figure ñeaps at Africa and strikes her right between the eyes!
Would this be an attacker from another -smaller- species ort just one of her cubs greeting her??? The motion in the frame is incredibly well done, and it almost looks like a frozen animation frame!
Fifht frame, and last: And it were her cubs stalking her! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="25" height="17" alt="
The radiant expression on the two little ones fills us with tenderness and -just like it possibly happens to Africa herself- distracts us from the fact that these kids have nearly given us a heart attack!!!
One of the cubs is more "gigner" pelted, whilst the other has blacker marks. The ginger one looks a bit more femonone to me, but we'll have to wait to know! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l… " width="26" height="17" alt="
The anatomy and poses of these three felines playing is imcredibly well drawn and colored, and the frame allows us to relax after the tension of the former pasge's events...
What will become of this family Africa has created?
We will know in the next exciting page!
This was a brilliant adding to the story...I can't wait to see more!

OMG so freaking ADORABLE !!! In the first panel we can see that she does worry about everything, and especially her cubs, the second panel is so awesome, third is also awesome, fourth is to adorable and the last one is SO FREAKING ADORABLE !!!!! I love Mosi's design, he looks so hunky and much like Chui... hmmm, maybe Chui will have a soft spot for him, because they look alike. And Binti is so adorable, biting Africa's tail. I love her colours, and she will always be mommy's favourite, and so will Mosi. I sence a great future for them. overall, AWESOME

That is Africa which we have loved! I knew it - she was only playing a "bad leopard" in public places but in private life she's this same friendly and kind Africa which have found a friend in antelope. She has to be a good mother - I see this in her eyes, when she is looking for her babies. She's a great mom! And her babies... awwww! This two lovely cubs are just like theirs mom, when she was a cub! What a beautiful family.
Your talent has been shown here in the most brilliant way; you have depicted a true love between mother and her children in clear and simple way but it's definitely an artistic masterpiece! because of such a scenes I love your story and arts. Huge congratulation, my dear! Well done!

SO UNBEARABLY CUTE! I am so glad we finally get to meet Africa's cubs!!! They are ADORABLE!!! Once again, i love this series and the artist!! I love how well drawn this comic is and how the emotions are expertly drawn! The cubs are so cute and just like kids! And yay no Chui!! (i really don't like him) I still love this comic!! I truly think that this comic is magnificent and should definitely be continued!! I just have two questions: 1: Which cub is which? 2: HOW IS THIS ARTIST SO AMAZING?!?! i can barely draw a line!!

I really love this page. It's not only cute but so well drawn. You can really see the emotions the characters are feeling. It's original and just so well done! You have a very good eye for detail. The characters look the same in each panel so readers can easily tell who is who.
The side view in the first panel is a little odd to me. The face just looks a bit off. But there is nothing else I can say that I find off. Your use of color is amazing, and I really enjoyed this page. Good job.
