Honeyglow is by far the laziest of the group, although he prefers to think of himself as "laid-back." He'll dip out of work any way he can, whether it's by feigning sickness or overeating and getting a real stomachache. By his early teens, he was big and strong enough to take the stallion's share of the work on the Apple Farm, and he's one hek of an apple bucker when he puts his mind to it, but he would rather be in rodeo shows, and travels a lot around Dodge City and Appleloosa with his uncle Braeburn and band of rodeo show ponies. He's a mama's boy to the end, although he'll deny it. He puts up a super macho persona and is viewed as the "dumb jock" (which he kinda is).

Relationships:

Honeyglow spends most of his time napping, eating, and performing at rodeo shows. Applejack dotes on him very much, especially when he was a foal, and he is admittedly more than a little spoiled when it comes to getting what he wants. As he grew up, she became more strict on his work habits in the hopes that he would one day be the successor to the Apple farm, but he has his sights set on becoming a world-famous rodeo star.

To be honest, Honeyglow sees himself as a very popular stallion, especially around mares. He's very flirty and is constantly trying to be the center of attention in crowds and during performances. While he is popular among his rodeo fans, his friends find him sometimes annoying and at worst obnoxious. He's gotten into more than a few scraps with Iris because of how easily she gets annoyed by his taunting tone, but she knows that he's completely harmless so they never seriously fight. She just takes it as her duty to knock sense into him every so often.

He spends a lot of time with Day because she helps around the farm often. His cousin, Cinnamon Roll, is mostly the one who helps Day with her strength training when she visits the farm because Honey uses her extra help as an excuse to get some shut-eye. Honeyglow and Daybreak have a very comfortable bro-bro relationship and he treats her as one of the guys. Day has a lot of fun teasing him about his crushes as well.

With the guys, Flash Flood and Crashing Comet, Honeyglow tends to act cool and gets a little more competitive, especially with Flash. The two are really good at egging each other on to do crazy and sometimes dangerous feats that neither of them really want to do. They also both would rather just chill and read comic books or play a friendly game of hoofball, but somehow they usually end up arguing and disagreeing on almost everything. Eventually they get better at working together, but they're just naturally argumentative on a lot of random subjects. Comet doesn't really join in on their little testosterone battles; he sees them as childish and silly. The guys often make fun of him for his studiousness and use of magic for a lot of mundane tasks, but he's often the voice of reason and they defer to him when they get in a particularly heated dispute.

Connie might be the only mare that Honeyglow genuinely opens up to without having a love interest. Since he doesn't know too much about mares, he tends to either see them as crush material, or as a bro. Connie is an in-between. Instead of being somepony to roughhouse with or flirt with, Connie is the one who patiently listens and is reliable and dependable.

Cutie Mark/Special Abilities: Besides the super strength of the Apple family running through his veins, Honeyglow is lithe, swift on his hooves, and a natural in the ring. His specialty is the lasso and knots and he holds the Ponyville and Dodge City record for wrangling and rodeo bucking, a championship that he is constantly rivaling his uncle Braeburn and a few rodeo friends for.
