In fact, In genesis it practically is anti-intelligence, because what was the fruit that brought man into original sin (in the gospel)? the fruit from tree of knowledge.

Can you make a stamp where this is all on one static slide rather than as a gif? If not, can I?

You must read slow.

That would be "slowly".

You're correct. (:

Also, "'slowly.'" is the correct way to position a period within quotation marks.

Why should they praise intelligence or logic or reason? The deity of the bible is more concerned with keeping his followers fruitful and multiplying until they strip the land of resources, then he leads them in genocidal attacks on their neighbors. Better to keep the people ignorant so they do not question the paradox between 'Thou shall not kill' and 'Put these people to the sword.'

By that he means "thou shalt not murder" - and God's definition of murder is killing someone without his permission or command.

That is kinda like having the corrupt lawyer be allowed to define 'corruption' in such a narrow way that nothing that he does is really corrupt.

What else would you expect from such a morally incompetent god?!

t-subgenius In reply to MKBrony [2014-04-28 07:03:58 +0000 UTC]

Only problem is that all-knowing deity is incapable of incompetence. Β Incompetence therefore is indifference (at best) or (more likely) malevolence.
