reminds me of the Jupiter diving scene in 2010

Wow! I often imagine lifeforms like these on places, we could hardly imagine! Great work!

It was a pretty neat concept. His depiction of a gas giant 'cloudscape' was pretty impressive and realistic too.

For sure. though i herd somewhere that if you were in the clouds of Jupiter they would be just foggy and boring, its only because the planet is so big that we see lots of details and different colours from far. But i don't know, a camera would still be nice on a Jupiter atmospheric probe. : p

Makes sense if that is the case, being more gravity to keep the clouds flatter then ours... We do need to send a camera to Jupiter to see for sure what it looks like! XD

Hmm. I would think that green would be a strange color for creatures that exist via the tiny scraps they find...

Cool storm going on!!! And that gas looks like a wave!
And the rings look excellent!

Whoah...0.0 I love the texture of the gas waves swirling in with everything..and the little green sprouts of mushroom things makes it even more trippy. ARTGASMIC piece!

Love the imagery here. You've taken the idea of how life finds a way to coexist nearly anywhere here on earth and done a great job of capturing the essences of what life might look like on a gas giant.

whether life on gas giants isn't my debate. but its unlikely they'd become sapient. possible but unlikely. they'd probably be smart like a fox or a dolphin.

Yeah it would be very very hard to start life i would imagine too, unless it starts a bit deeper inside the cloud layers of a calm gas giant. if it is too turbulent it may be hard for things to stick together. but who knows! i cant really imagine intelligent life on a gas giant either though.
though we can not completely rule it out either, the universe is so wonderfully strange, and yet harshly cold and bitter.

most likely a probe would find a whole slew of bacteria, one celled fungi, varied viruses, and protists.
a germ based ecosystem. its not as exciting as what i mentioned before but its life.
