Description I developed these sketches of a garlic bulb (same bulb, three different angles) over a period of several days. It was interesting to see what kinds of shading produced the most realistic results. Graphite pencil, 2B and HB.

Thanks for the feedback! I wasn't sure which version I liked best, but I was torn between the first and the last (bottom) one. That poor middle one just didn't turn out!
