This was very nostalgic for me, good times.
Majimonsters was a a tabletop pokemon and D&D love child developed by Late Knight Games for which I had the pleasure of designing some of the monsters for back in 2018, which you guys can check in this gallery folder if you are unfamiliar with it: [link]

The prompt for Shokani was that of a kaiju-like crab with a underwater japanese city on it's back, taking some inspirations from the actual crab/yokai Heikegani . For me, this was my opportunity to to cram as much thematic imagery as I could.
You can check some of the initial ideas for Shokani right here as well. I usually don't like sharing my sketches all that much, but I'm a bit fond of the initial rough ideas for this one.
