Description "The earth is but one country and mankind is its citizens."

Near my house is a Bahai temple. It is one of only seven in the world. It is a very simple structure but holds a commanding view over the north of Sydney and can be seen for many miles away. Its religion is unusual in that it accepts all faiths into its doors. They recognise the prophets Krishna, Moses, Zoroaster, Buddha, Christ, Mohammad, Bab, Baha'u'llah and another unknown one that was believed to exist in 5000 B.C. They would probably be damned by most other religions for suggesting such a preposterous idea, that all the prophets were prophets, and they could all get along under one roof,.......but wouldn't it be nice to just put the fighting behind us and learn to live as one race, respectful of other peoples beliefs, of other peoples faiths. Would it really be that hard a thing to do? Perhaps I'm just too simplistic in my hopes, but.......wouldn't it be nice?

indeed it's "the star of Baha" and not bab. because the bab in abjad would be b+a+b (in arabic: 2+1+2) = 5 and not 9. Baha is b+h+a+a (in arabic: 2+5+1+1) = 9.

Thank you very much for pointing this out. I really don't know to much about the religion. I have changed the name of the photo accordingly. thanks again.

A little mysterious. i don't think that i have ever seen any religious services there though. it's a very tranquil place. Some really nice gardens. a good place to chillout a bit. I find it a very unusual religion.I would like to see the other six that are around the world. there's one in america, 1 in samoa, 1 in uganda, 1 in india, 1 in panama and one in germany. it would make for an interesting idea. some people climb the highest peaks on all 7 continents i'd like to see the 7 temples. all the countries would be interesting to see as well.
