Description I'm a total hypocrite. Even after coming to the -very- clear conclusion that Ludwig is, indeed, not an inventor, I go and draw him doing something "inventory" again. Bah.

In any case... asked for a pic of Ludwig coming out of a pipe, so I figured I'd do something a little different than my last "pipe" picture. Have you ever seen someone completely covered in some sort of filth save for a clean patch around their eyes where they were wearing a pair of goggles? Well, that's what I was going for. Ludwig did rule Pipe Land, after all-- I suppose he had to keep all those pipes in good working order! Not always a clean job.

I know I took some liberties with this one, but I hope you like it, KoopaKid.

I've always pictured Ludwig as a polymath who's good at music AND inventing and probably a bunch of other things.  A lot of scientists are also good at music and play instruments, after all.
Plumbing is one thing he doesn't do, however.  In the cartoon he said "I'm a mad genius, not a plumber!"

Yes, that's certainly a valid possibility. ^^ I guess, in any case, that this picture defies canon with the plumbing.

I have! It's just that every "official" Nintendo source seems to imply that Ludwig's a composer or musician. Don't get me wrong, though-- I really am torn between the two personalities myself. Him being an inventor works so well with his being the "leader" of the koopalings and all...

Well, I keep a Mario channel and a "watched" deviations channel on my front page, replacing the "Newest" and "Popular" channels. You can do that if you have a subscription.

Ah, yes! I knew there was a good reason to clean out the pipe! Attacking Peach's castle is always a good reason!
