Ever been the Cass Scenic Railroad? It's full of moments like this.

I haven't, but I've ridden behind enough coal-burning steam locomotives to know how very real this threat is. ^^

Steam locomotives don't tend to have deadman's controls (unless they're in Europe, where such devices tend to be mandated and are retrofitted onto pretty much everything nowadays). So no, no deadman's switch here.

welsh coal? I thought that was just a fictional detail made up for children in "Henry's Coal" and that would not be different from coal from other parts of Britain or Europe

well wow. Thanks for telling me, I thought the Welsh Coal thing was, just for childrens entertainment and not actually a readl thing.
But wow, I believe it.

Yes. I know russian coal was crap when they tried to use it in Tornado, it needed like 235 psi to run but, the russian coal could only get it to 120 to 130 psi.

True dat - though, I always imagine them with soft-tipped fingers, like how I draw Kleo and the others...

Magikoopas seem to let their claws grow a bit... and what can I say, it's a habit I picked up from those nuts. XD Clearly, keeping them short is far more practical. I suppose the Koopa army probably mandates such neatness...

Personally, I have the opposite. Tend to keep mine unhealthily short. I ought to stop that.
Hard to say where the Koopa army stands on hygiene. Bowser is often depicted as this messy, unsophisticated brute, but we may be very wrong.
