“Hi, my name is Hiccup. And I don’t leave my house until I’ve slicked back my locks with some hand-collected dragon ash, specially bottled right here in Berk.”Or rather, his girlfriend won't let him. Astrid just loves getting her hands dirty as she runs them through those dark, sooty roots.

OMG!! *cracks up laughing* Hilarious!! Histrid and Humorous!Hiccup: A definite win!!! For some reason that "add" reminded me of the really old add featuring the black dude who said "Look at me, look back at your man, look back at me. Sadly, your man is not me...I'm on a horse." Something crazy like that. You know, that add that went viral. Now I can just picture Hiccup saying that except it would be with dragons instead of men or something. A definite fave!!!

Yup, that ad was on my mind as I doodled this. I think back when it was going viral there were a lot of pictures of Hiccup sitting on Toothless saying, "I'm on a dragon".

This one is fun! I picked out the Old Spice reference right away! Hiccup being suave and mahhhhnly with his adorkable features is cute.
The freckles are awesome, as always. I also like the weave pattern on Hiccup's tunic.
I guess you know Old Spice has a new campaign with a new manager Spokesperson (?) for their Wild scent collections. You could probably have some fun with that one, too. (the dragon kind of fun)

Wow, I had not known Old Spice was changing things up! PRobably because I don't ever see commercials.

I don't see commercials, either, but some of them pop up on You Tube when I watch documentaries, and this was one of them. I think this was new campaign based on their new "Wild" scents line. The "I'm on a Horse" campaign is for the bodywash. I think (hope) they'll still keep bringing Musafa back for that-- he's a hoot, and his on-line duel with Fabio for who would be the better Old Spice spokesman was hilarious.
I just thought you'd like this campaign, too. It's hilarious. They had a few commercials previously with over the top images of sexy men being surrounded by wolves and hawks in ridiculous ways in James Bond settings. But this spokeswolf idea was killing me because it is so making fun of corporate America and is deliberately lousy special effects. I could so see Hookfang or Toothless jabbing back at Hiccup with their own Wild campaign.
