Description A couple kids playing in the dirt, nice little sight. As soon as they saw me they decided that it was time to play 20 questions. Little kids speaking Chinese is so difficult to understand because the talk way too fast. I think they said something about be being much bigger then they are, wanted to know what I was and why I was taking photos, but as usual, these kids had the attention span ofโ€ฆwellโ€ฆ.kids. A few moments after they asked me a bunch of questions one after another, these two little friends just ran off.

I got a number of shots on film, as usual they look great on paper but look like hell scanned.

So, enjoy this photo of two dirty kids and their playfulness.

Scanned black and white negative.

I like to see the playfull kids like this, always moving around, barely still for the quarter of second a shot takes...lovely!

heh, thanks, what is it about my work thats so amazing? Not that im trying to get a big head, im trying to nail down what exactly people like about my stuff so I can further my ideas later

oh well what you shot..it's things you or anyone for that matter would see everyday..but you capture it right
like the last shots of the kids you know how they say for someone to smile with there eyes that is what i see its amazing..
and what you chose to include in frame and whatnot its juts nice
i'm sure you'll have a big head after this but it's ok cause it's the truth

ill try not to have a big head

amazingly, I dont crop much out of my photos that I take when I frame them in photoshop, usualy ill crop out like...half a rock from no where, or something like that, but usualy I try to take these shots as perfectly framed as I can so I dont have to do much work on it later and because its just good for me

that is true..to do it old styles..it's great you feel like something has been accomplished..liek back then it was jsut that take the frame like i mean you could crop and stuff but nowadays it;s crazy what you can do..
but you works just get me right here

heh, love it, old school style

aww, gets you right there hum? Thats nice When im out trying to take photos (trying is true, ive been having a #&$^% of a time with my camera lately) I want to get the nice shot but I also want to get the interesting and emotionaly impactive shots, which sort of limits me to how many photos I can actualy take but I usualy get the good stuff

looks very surreal how the kid in the front is still and his compadre is blurred, i dunno what it is but it's quite trippy (the effect i mean!)... both have great expressions too. nice shot!

I love their expressions.
Young new kids in a seemingly older and worn place, really contrasting
Good mood there ^^,

Way too cute. I LOVE this. I think little Chinese kids are the cutest thing in the world. Wonderful capture. I've got hillarious stories about trying to understand what they're saying too. It's all great fun.

Another example of perfect photography. Envy. Amazing picture of some cute kids. Too bad your scanner hates you (or whatever makes that happen..) I think the blur is good actually. Too sharp all over and the picture becomes static, with the blur there is motion, life in the capture. That's hard to do on film

I love everything in this picture! You captured a great pose of them! The one is moving, the other is not and interesting that the entire picture has some "still" impression, but i can feel an overall vibration in the air...i can imagine as they suddenly turn around and run away. Fantastic!
