An Art Trade with the lovely Shadatanish-Divine ~I kinda went a bit overboard with this piece. >.> Didn't want to just leave this piece pencil-coloured, so I took my pens and markers out that I'd not used for so long, and... yeah. :'D I do like how I'd done his eyes, as well as those markings that Black Doom might have on him that I did not pay attention to as I played through Shadow the Hedgehog game. Hadn't played it since I unlocked everything, so eh. >.>
I'm not really certain if I should shade the back of his robe, given how the contrast of pencil brown and marker brown are so far apart. >.> So I only coloured the inside of his robes, and yeah. I really need to work on shading stuff. D;

I agree with StRlite Β -your coloring here is much brighter and eye-catching especially with the red and yellow! And yes, your lighting is very well done~
The only thing that seems a bit off to me is his hand. But overall, this is an impressive drawing~

But I only wanted the colouring to match the character here! Thank you so much for your comment, by the way. XD I rarely do lighting such as this kind, especially with markers and pencils mixed together.

Woah, talk about colours popping out of the picture there~ The markers and the pens really does add in the extra stuff like his quills and the background. ;D
Ah wells, I can still see a bit of the different lighting on his robe. c: 'Cause I thought the light sources may be coming from the hellish sky and⦠the lava if you kinda intend that as you work on the background behind him. xD

Just wanted to do something similar to what she'd done for her part of this art trade. :"D It's not as good as hers, but I guess it's the best that I can give. ^^"
That's cause I gently coloured his robes. X'D Didn't even intend for the hellish sky and lava for this picture at all. :/ Just wanted to fill in the background, is all. With fitting colours of fire. :'D

Pfffft~ Well, at least according to her comment below, she seems to enjoy it. ;D The parts you've coloured in with markers made them brighter rather than pencils alone, so yeah. :'D

Black Doom looks so effective and great in your sweet drawing style, I love it so much 
You drew him really incredible and I don't see any mistakes or something - all is perfect!
