You're an outstanding artist. Hardly ever do I come across a gallery with such divers pieces of art. Great job on the pet portraits (animals are my inspiration so they stood out for me ). And I'm also Derwent user. Love those pencils. Great work!

Thanks so much for a lovely comment Yes, Derwent are great, but the "coloursoft" get short very fast!! Keep having to buy more However, they're great 'cos they're thick & oily. Which ones do you use?

Ah I see, I use the "watercolor" pencils (but dont actually use water, I just use them as normal pencils). Also soft but I dont think just as soft as yours. They were the softest I could find, but I'll keep an eye out for the coloursoft ones. Would love to try those too.

I used to use watercolour ones with no water too when I began working in colour There's not much difference really I always use watercolour paper too because I find I can't blend properly on smooth
