Description Ugha...so AS PROMISED here is my stained glass tutorial. It took me alllll day to make u___u Which is much longer than I would have liked.

You can download the lines to the stained glass @ [link] if you want to practice from there and gunk.

I was gonna put more into this than I already did but I think it would have killed me. Hope its useful to someone out there anyway XD;

I love it! I would love to do digital stained glass and at least I found a tutorial in DeviantArt on how to create "stained glass" in your computer!

Im a little confused up to the wanding part. Do you combine the layers? I don't understand. I'm trying to use this tutorial and get entirely lost by the wanding part :/

So I must be retarded or something because I can't seem to get it to work. This isn't my first time with photoshop, just with using this method.Β Ok, so I guess my problem is that the colors are not staying the same when I set them to multiply. They are changing to a mixture and I can't manipulate them back to the color I wanted. Can you help with this?

I follow up until you start wanding. Do you select the back color (the oranges) and put them on a new layer? Is that why you select them? Why does just selecting the bits you want not work? At least it doesn't for me. I just don't understand.

Kai-Dragoness In reply to Sirens-Voice [2014-09-07 05:41:17 +0000 UTC]

actually i think i figured it out. once you create the glass layer in the background, you need to duplicate the layer for every colored area you want and adjust the color. this is right before the wanding part.

Ah, ok. Thanks! I might have to try this again on a new project. I think I did an ok job but its still a little wonky.Β

Thank you so much for this tutorial It helped me a lot and while trying it I found a little thing to ... improve a little ^ ^ By a layer "cloud" in black and white (which can adjust the levels) it is easier to apply the color with a hard light layer over
I'm not completely certain to layer names in English but it's easily found

Your tutorial is detailed and easy to follow.
It is probably the most simple way to make a realistic and good looking stained-glass window.
The result looks absolutely fabulous!
Very well deserved your DD.
