Description
Came up with a new character.
Say hi to Mary, a mosquito!
Mary is a friendly girl with a medical degree and knowledge on a variety of anatomies. She’s happy to help her clients who can’t help but fear for going to the doctor, despite her calm and warm personality. It’s probably the needles.
One of her most noticeable features is ofcourse her huuuuuge t-
ongue.
Which she likes to drink with, but not until happy hour.
Like Aya, she too has an exoskeleton, which is generally accepted as a 2nd skin and clothing. She only wears a uniform for her profession and formality.

I wanted to make a personification of a mosquito for a while now, to see if I’d able to turn it into something attractive. I have seen very little anthropomorphic art of mosquitos. And what I did find was usually with a long pointy nose, making them look like a which’s nose in my opinion. So I’m pretty glad what I’ve come up with! A flexible long tongue can’t be seen as something usable for aaaaanything unspeakable, right?
She’s no bad person, just misunderstood, kind of like an actual mosquito. I figured the needle of a mosquito is quite flexible and is used to drink with. So I liked the idea of turning it into a tongue.
My first idea for a feared doctor was a Jewel Wasp. But I already had a character that is scary and evil. –looking at you, Sisi-
I thought of how a doctor or a dentist can have the best intentions, but some people can’t help but be scared of needles or anything that might possible hurt a little.
Despite my hate towards mosquitos and my burning wish for their extinction, mosquitos don’t infect or drain you just to screw with you. But they just do it to survive. Can’t blame them for that, seeing how humanity can be destructive for the sake of survival as well.
