This was a request during one of my Picarto a couple of months of ago. It is of Thorax at the end of Season Six. It will be interesting to see what Hasbro and DHX crew do with him and the other changelings now, and what fate awaits Chrysalis?I hope you like what you see. Gotta admit something here: haven't been keeping up with the show itself for the past couple seasons so this guy is new to me. So are the changelings going more for their own unique look now? I ask because he looks more deer/bug rather than pony/bug.

All the changelings except Chrysalis evolved Pokemon style into a different base form. A changeling given the name Thorax by Spike had spent time openly among ponies in the Crystal Citadel (er Empire) before the evolution is now their ruler. Chrysalis has banished herself into the 'wilderness' to plot her Revenge because she didn't have it in herself to Evolve like the rest of her hive.

This was an evening where I cranked out about 6 images in a 4 hour period. If I remember correctly this was the last one of the evening and it was completed in about 40 to 45 minutes.

That will be a while. At the moment we've just dealt with what to do with Flutterbat since that has been a bit more complicated than in the show.

I was shocked when I saw the show.
I suspected a pony of some sort but this was like a hippie psychedelic color experience.
It was nice and I do like brightly colored items.
I was very mod in my youth and it carried on in my older age. Drab?? Not me!!

Well as pointed out the colors do mimic some of those found on certain moths, but it does make all of the changelings look like they are background characters from the Yellow Submarine.
