I keep trying to argue that chocolate is technically a vegetable but most people won't believe me...

Sugar comes from sugar canes or beets - both plants - which makes it a vegetable.
Coke is mainly made of sugar and water, so it must be healthy.
As you know, the stuff you drunk on in alcohol is ethanol, which is made by fermenting sugars with yeast. And since sugar is a vegetable as previously described, alcohol is a vegetable too.
Tobacco is a vegetable too, as it is most often the leaves that are used, not the seed pods.
So the next time the doctors tell you to get more vegetables (since the green m/m's trick doesn't work then), you just go right ahead and pour yourself a rum and coke while smoking a big fat cigar.

Yeah, it really should be up in the 5000's. I'm kidding, of course. Seriously, I understand your frustration. Worse yet, I've seen people retype quotes they stole off the internet in plain B&W type and get even more fave than than this. At least the concept here is original to me.
If it makes you feel any better, I have some works in which I put a great deal of time and effort that have gone relatively ignored.

Hah, my dad always says green foods are all poisonous, so he'd never touch his veggies. He kept that through in adulthood and to this day will pick out all the green M&Ms and throw them away.
