Description
I did this for the masked_ball LJ community ([link] ) and had a load of fun doing it.The prompt was:
Erik looking into a trifold mirror, with three separate reflections- what he actually looks like, what he *thinks* he looks like, and what he looks like on the inside (inner beauty, that kind of thing.)
I added that I leave it up to the viewer to decide which is which.
It's so nice to make new Phantom art.

I don't normally comment on artwork I favorite on here (because I'm just too lazy), but yours was such an inspirational and unique piece of phanart, that I had to compliment you. It's one of those types of art that makes you stop and think. Please keep up the excellent work, I can't wait for more of your Leroux phanart.

very interesting especially since i think that Erik may have suffered from multiple personality syndrome
he refers to himself in the third person and blames the "siren" which is of course really him

I added this to favourites a while ago and today I wasgoing through my favourites and came across this again. I don't know why I didn't comment before but this is honestly one of my favourite Phantom pieces ever, it is so well done and captures so much. I love it!

If one were to separate the angel and the reaper as one being the truth and the other his skewed self perception, assuming we're going by Leroux-canon, then Erik's self-deprecating nature makes it a bit obvious. I like to think that they're both his true inner self, a representation of the extremes he can reach instantaneously and his duality as a character.
