    Here is kinda my take on the concept of “Horseshoe theory”. Although I personally think it’s hot garbage, this is kinda a worst case scenario that involves basically the three major schools of thought, though distilled and jumbled together in strange grotesque versions of their former selves. These schools being Progressivism as represented by Europe, Alt-Right through the Imperium and Political Islam as shown by the Caliphate. These three factions I find most prevalent in discussions so this is essentially a 1984-esque world(as inspired by RvBOMally’s). So let us begin.

A Deep State agent he arranged for an attack, though when that fell apart he took matters into his own hands and bombed the White House, leading to his own death and of the President, Vice-President and some of his family. Many new establishment politicians who sought a policy of Nationalism with Harmony began to despise him as he gathered many followers when speaking.

The Imperial Church ironically originated as an offshoot of a church that grew out of the first Culture War of the 1960s. Mormons and Jews were sanctioned heretics with the former being forced to relinquish claims to Christianity for it continue existence while Scientologists, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Muslims and other religious minorities were forcibly removed, either through extermination or exile. Male citizens are expected to enter service into the military and women are expected to raise children on the homefront and contribute to the economy. The sexual revolution has gone in the complete reverse and those who live more hedonistic lifestyles are typically ostracized from Imperial communities, at worse arrested. The health of the nation is also considered of vital importance, with young people expected to have the physique of Spartan warriors, ever so prepared. Race is also considered important but comperable for those willing to give their live to the Fatherland, Emperor and Lord. Blacks who joined with the GNA gained much in terms of political influence and were tolerated but those who weren’t were forced out and many moved back to Africa, mainly to South Africa because of the political environment. Many Hispanics who were disloyal were kicked out regardless of language and Spanish quickly became an illegal language, with massive fines, or worse prison, given to those speaking it in public. East Asians and Indians were the only non-white groups not heckled by the Imperial government, as many were considered useful to the economy and the state as well as the fact that given their allies in the East, it might had made meetings more than a little awkward. Race mixing is considered taboo once again, however the Imperium does openly promote racial-mixing in the Spanish way. That being soldiers are permitted to take women in occupied territories as to delude the populations and create a loyal sub-ethnic classes. Speaking of soldiers, women are excluded from military service. The Emperor pushed this into law due to him witnessing a female soldier raped by one of his comrades. Although he used the physical prowess and performance argument originally, his reasoning was primarily due to his belief that breaking down someones morals where it is okay to kill, it would be nearly impossible to enforce sexual moral codes with men and women. However nothing is more important as the idea of the Fatherland, which the Emperor is considered the mortal watchman, with God of course being the Immortal Guardian. European society became heavily controlled and many religious symbols were censored or destroyed completely. Every Euro citizen has chips implanted in their head that allow the government to track their every movement A new language was created, based on Latin, Slavic and Germanic text, which became known Euro-Common, with certain words or phrases considered "offensive" erased. Although Euro-Enclaves were created, these were largely used to appease the Muslim minority, who not only were allowed to remain but were also used as a political block under the control to delude European national identities. As mentioned before however, most religion is outlawed, with many priests, nuns and followers whether they be Catholic, Protestant or East Orthodox hanging by the rafters. Most citizens live to support the system purely in an economic sense, to consume cheap foods and spend most of their time cooped up in their houses, and more often then not getting high and devolving themselves into sanctioned degenerate rituals. Corporations, banks and government are even more interconnected than in the Imperium(which regularly boasts it's Capitalist nature) with politicians also being members of or holding stock in various companies. There remains some jobs in both the industrial and service sector but usually this goes boils to either being a chief or supervisor of a factory, store, and whatever else or working in a bio-factory, which is more like a traditional factory where people work without pay and are forced by the state. Ultimately, like Anglo-Saxonism submission to the state is necessary for survival.
  In Asia, Korean and Japanese Nationalism grew intensely as the Chinese tiger rose against the waves. India, being one of the more powerful in Asia also came to oppose Chinese dominance and the three engaged in a policy of keeping China surrounded politically. In Europe, Brexit was able to go through and the Irish soon jumped ship when many EFU policies were pushed without their consent. Britain, Norway and Ireland stood to oppose the growing Europe. The Imperium came to unite the two worlds, Europe and Asia and forged an alliance to hold back the two growing super powers. Soon a new war began, a proper WW3 between the new powers. China, Europe, and Latin America(New Social Order) against the Imperium, Britain, Japan, Korea, India and Australia-New Zealand(International Allied Powers). The war did not go well for the NSO. While Europe was able to conquer Britain and Norway, Britain was reconquered by the Imperium soon after and Chinese Siberia was occupied by East Asian and Imperial forces but one of the biggest upsets was China’s losses to Korea. While on paper not a lot but enough for anger to stir. The Imperium conquered most of Latin America, who was behind severely militarily against the Anglo-Saxons. The Imperium stood tall and was even prepared for a final victory, but at the failed invasion of Norway and Brittany, the Holy Anglic Imperium and Europe along with their allies came to a draw and the two states reconciled, especially given a new power on the battlefield.

While the Imperium often looks to Sparta as a figurative model, the Caliphate embodies Spartan and Roman slave society in all it's worst aspects. Slaves do a huge portion of work, usually as laborers, assistants and even in militarily(see below). As society is run under a strict interpretation of Sharia law, all non-Islamic religions are illegal in open practice, and while the Caliphate claims that there are Jews and Christians living peacefully under the Mahdi, this is only true in theory as only the richest of Christians and Jews are able to pay the high tax for worship while most others were either exterminated or chose to adopt Islam in fear for their lives. Women are also tightly controlled in the Caliphate, not being allowed to drive, leave their homes without a male guardian and so on. The only privilege women got is that many were allowed to be apart of the slave police and trained to use weapons in border territories. The Mahdi equipped his Caliphate with advanced tech and combined with religious fervor was only matched by the Imperium’s own national will(although even the EFU considers the Imperium a left-wing paradise when compared to the Islamic Caliphate). The Caliphate was only held back by the temporary ceasefire between the Europeans and the Anglics. However the two sides quickly went back to fighting soon after, primarily in Africa. When he cemented his control, the Mahdi uploaded his consciousness to a supercomputer and connected it to an Android husk, allowing him to rule eternally without the problems of monarchy and successors. The same was not done for his ruling cabal, as to give him more prestige and godliness amongst the muslim peasants.

  Technologically, each of these bloc also represents a different outlook on man's relationship to machines and scientific advancements. The Imperium remains very Bio-Conservative, seeing technology as a great threat if not brought under the heel of human whims. Because of this, it see's things like machines as to be seperate from man which led to increasing developments into Power Armor and exo-suits. To keep man and machine separate. Automation has also been scaled back as the post-Civil War, many Americans(and those in conquered territories) found themselves in need of jobs that were growing fewer and fewer in number. The Emperor, although initially used automation for military buildup, reversed many policies and put intensive regulations on automation and advanced AI. With lowered business taxes and reverses on negative trade deals and regulations, many companies returned or set up shop on American soil once again. Genetic engineering is a bit of mixed bag in the Imperium. Although most citizens are required to have their kids be slightly altered to get rid of genetic defects, this also is so to include eliminating things like Homosexuality and the issue of transexuals are considered a thing of the past because of this sort of baby engineering, however it is on the law books illegal oddly enough of changing your kids IQ, hair, eye and even skin color. The "Defect Clause" was a result of a compromise between hardline religious Bio-Conservatives and the Neo-Purity blocs. Meanwhile as mentioned in Europe, the the EFU embraced the automation revolution and pushed for an even greater welfare state to take care of it's citizens. Universal Basic Income became a necessity for those living in the EFU, although very minimal and because of the lack of an economic latter, most of the wealth has since coalesced to the bureaucrats and party cronies in charge, with most citizens living in second world living conditions. Transhumanism is popular in the EFU but only the elite and military utilizes it, usually due to costs of implanting even the most smallest chips into one's bodies. Although it prefers human slaves to robotics, and transhumanism is considered sinful the Caliphate has taken to AI and Genetic Engineering with full glee, but not in the way mentioned prior. As mentioned before, the Caliph uploaded his consciousness into a mass computer system giving him control over most traffic in and out of the Caliphate and often appears to his people as a Virtual Intelligence, to give speeches and make it known that he will be around to the end of days. They also utilize AI's to bring back Prophets so they can give and OK to the Caliphates regime, although most believe these are spirits come down from Heaven by the grace of Allah. In the genetic engineering department, they utilize it in two ways, genetically created super soldiers, which are more often than not, the sons of slaves who go under intensive treatment not unlike the Spartan program from the Halo Universe meanwhile also utilizing clone technology. Of course this is a rather crude form that resulted in the Ogs, an Ogryn-like race of slaved warriors known for their brutality and resistance. These have made a more recent appearance and the Caliphate is always looking to improve upon them.

  Since the end of the war in the 2040s the world has changed slightly. Britain and Ireland were admitted into the Imperium as separate Commonwealths, Australia fell to left wing revolution and formed the Oceanic Federation along with Indonesia and New Zealand. Africa and the Middle East are the main battlefields of war in the new Cold War with all sides fighting direct to indirect wars against each other. For their must be a final victory, and everyone believes they can outlive the other. We will see how quickly that line of thinking burns out and war begins once again.

(Possibly dated)-If you’re curious about how the various militaries look like, I took visual cues from Call of Duty Advanced Warfare mixed with Warhammer 40k for the Imperium(Genetically augmented 7 foot tall Power Armored soldiers with Exoskeleton weilding grunts) and Call of Duty Black Ops 3 for the EFU(Mechanized Robotic, though simple, military with elite cybornetic Super soldiers), and a more primitive Covenant style or theme mixed with Gears of War COGs for the Caliphate(they don't really have an advanced super soldier project but they do use genetically mutated slave soldiers who are really more humanistic brutes called Ogs and are actually pretty easy to produce now). If that makes any sense. Oh and if you're curious about the title, that's what inspired me oddly enough to do this.

While China was given the Far East as they betrayed the Russians some time after the War began. Due to the EFU inheriting the left-wing political front of America, Canada and soon Britain, the EFU radically shifted its ideology. The European Way became the dominant political force in EFU parliament, which comprised of Economic corporatism, welfare socialism, Pan-Europeanism, industrial automation, single-party rule, state-atheism surveillance state, equality of outcome(limited though it may be) sexual control, and anti-national culture. European society became heavily controlled and many religious symbols were censored or destroyed completely. Every Euro citizen has chips implanted in their head that allow the government to track their every movement A new language was created, based on Latin, Slavic and Germanic text, which became known Euro-Common, with certain words or phrases considered "offensive" erased. Although Euro-Enclaves were created, these were largely used to appease the Muslim minority, who not only were allowed to remain but were also used as a political block under the control to delude European national identities. As mentioned before however, most religion is outlawed, with many priests, nuns and followers whether they be Catholic, Protestant or East Orthodox hanging by the rafters. Most citizens live to support the system purely in an economic sense, to consume cheap foods and spend most of their time cooped up in their houses, and more often then not getting high and devolving themselves into sanctioned degenerate rituals. Corporations, banks and government are even more interconnected than in the Imperium(which regularly boasts it's Capitalist nature) with politicians also being members of or holding stock in various companies. There remains some jobs in both the industrial and service sector but usually this goes boils to either being a chief or supervisor of a factory, store, and whatever else or working in a bio-factory, which is more like a traditional factory where people work without pay and are forced by the state. Ultimately, like Anglo-Saxonism submission to the state is necessary for survival.
  In Asia, Korean and Japanese Nationalism grew intensely as the Chinese tiger rose against the waves. India, being one of the more powerful in Asia also came to oppose Chinese dominance and the three engaged in a policy of keeping China surrounded politically. In Europe, Brexit was able to go through and the Irish soon jumped ship when many EFU policies were pushed without their consent. Britain, Norway and Ireland stood to oppose the growing Europe. The Imperium came to unite the two worlds, Europe and Asia and forged an alliance to hold back the two growing super powers. Soon a new war began, a proper WW3 between the new powers. China, Europe, and Latin America(New Social Order) against the Imperium, Britain, Japan, Korea, India and Australia-New Zealand(International Allied Powers). The war did not go well for the NSO. While Europe was able to conquer Britain and Norway, Britain was reconquered by the Imperium soon after and Chinese Siberia was occupied by East Asian and Imperial forces but one of the biggest upsets was China’s losses to Korea. While on paper not a lot but enough for anger to stir. The Imperium conquered most of Latin America, who was behind severely militarily against the Anglo-Saxons. The Imperium stood tall and was even prepared for a final victory, but at the failed invasion of Norway and Brittany, the Holy Anglic Imperium and Europe along with their allies came to a draw and the two states reconciled, especially given a new power on the battlefield.
    During the Great Ukrainian War, Saudi Arabia and Iran fought against one another in a climactic clash however their war ended in Nuclear fire like the American Civil War, though through the use of smaller drive in bombs rather than missiles. In the ashes a new Islamic State rose, one that was thought defeated years prior. This new beast was led not by a terrorist supposing to be a Caliph, but the Mahdi, the final conqueror. In reality he was a Saudi Prince who led a small militia and gained enough of a following to take Iraq and Arabia and soon Syria and Iran. He pushed his empire further amidst the chaos of the Great Ukrainian War and Third World War. This Islamic Caliphate functioned similar to the first one back in the early 21st century. He ruled with an iron fist, enslaving non-Muslim women and children, killing millions of dissidents and infidels and ruling with strict Sharia Law. Rather than utilizing advanced robotics like in Europe or having strict and sophisticated business laws like the Imperium, the Caliphate opted for the return of slavery. While the Imperium often looks to Sparta as a figurative model, the Caliphate embodies Spartan and Roman slave society in all it's worst aspects. Slaves do a huge portion of work, usually as laborers, assistants and even in militarily(see below). As society is run under a strict interpretation of Sharia law, all non-Islamic religions are illegal in open practice, and while the Caliphate claims that there are Jews and Christians living peacefully under the Mahdi, this is only true in theory as only the richest of Christians and Jews are able to pay the high tax for worship while most others were either exterminated or chose to adopt Islam in fear for their lives. Women are also tightly controlled in the Caliphate, not being allowed to drive, leave their homes without a male guardian and so on. The only privilege women got is that many were allowed to be apart of the slave police and trained to use weapons in border territories. The Mahdi equipped his Caliphate with advanced tech and combined with religious fervor was only matched by the Imperium’s own national will(although even the EFU considers the Imperium a left-wing paradise when compared to the Islamic Caliphate). The Caliphate was only held back by the temporary ceasefire between the Europeans and the Anglics. However the two sides quickly went back to fighting soon after, primarily in Africa. When he cemented his control, the Mahdi uploaded his consciousness to a supercomputer and connected it to an Android husk, allowing him to rule eternally without the problems of monarchy and successors. The same was not done for his ruling cabal, as to give him more prestige and godliness amongst the muslim peasants.

  Technologically, each of these bloc also represents a different outlook on man's relationship to machines and scientific advancements. The Imperium remains very Bio-Conservative, seeing technology as a great threat if not brought under the heel of human whims. Because of this, it see's things like machines as to be seperate from man which led to increasing developments into Power Armor and exo-suits. To keep man and machine separate. Automation has also been scaled back as the post-Civil War, many Americans(and those in conquered territories) found themselves in need of jobs that were growing fewer and fewer in number. The Emperor, although initially used automation for military buildup, reversed many policies and put intensive regulations on automation and advanced AI. With lowered business taxes and reverses on negative trade deals and regulations, many companies returned or set up shop on American soil once again. Genetic engineering is a bit of mixed bag in the Imperium. Although most citizens are required to have their kids be slightly altered to get rid of genetic defects, this also is so to include eliminating things like Homosexuality and the issue of transexuals are considered a thing of the past because of this sort of baby engineering, however it is on the law books illegal oddly enough of changing your kids IQ, hair, eye and even skin color. The "Defect Clause" was a result of a compromise between hardline religious Bio-Conservatives and the Neo-Purity blocs. Meanwhile as mentioned in Europe, the the EFU embraced the automation revolution and pushed for an even greater welfare state to take care of it's citizens. Universal Basic Income became a necessity for those living in the EFU, although very minimal and because of the lack of an economic latter, most of the wealth has since coalesced to the bureaucrats and party cronies in charge, with most citizens living in second world living conditions. Transhumanism is popular in the EFU but only the elite and military utilizes it, usually due to costs of implanting even the most smallest chips into one's bodies. Despite this, the push for automation has even gone into the EFU's military, with most of the military being comprised of androids that utilized long ranged weaponry to make up for their relatively weak and cheep construction, while also using cybernetic enhancements for it's human soldiers, who notably make up a smaller portion of the military cake. Although this merely describes the two big players in the various blocs, it is representative of both sides quite well, with the exception of China which actually is closer to the Imperium than it is to the EFU. At least when talking about Automation in the economy. In contrast to these two philosophies, the Islamic Caliphate has taken a strange approach. Although it prefers human slaves to robotics, and transhumanism is considered sinful the Caliphate has taken to AI and Genetic Engineering with full glee, but not in the way mentioned prior. As mentioned before, the Caliph uploaded his consciousness into a mass computer system giving him control over most traffic in and out of the Caliphate and often appears to his people as a Virtual Intelligence, to give speeches and make it known that he will be around to the end of days. They also utilize AI's to bring back Prophets so they can give and OK to the Caliphates regime, although most believe these are spirits come down from Heaven by the grace of Allah. In the genetic engineering department, they utilize it in two ways, genetically created super soldiers, which are more often than not, the sons of slaves who go under intensive treatment not unlike the Spartan program from the Halo Universe meanwhile also utilizing clone technology. Of course this is a rather crude form that resulted in the Ogs, an Ogryn-like race of slaved warriors known for their brutality and resistance. These have made a more recent appearance and the Caliphate is always looking to improve upon them.

  Since the end of the war in the 2040s the world has changed slightly. Britain and Ireland were admitted into the Imperium as separate Commonwealths, Australia fell to left wing revolution and formed the Oceanic Federation along with Indonesia and New Zealand. Africa and the Middle East are the main battlefields of war in the new Cold War with all sides fighting direct to indirect wars against each other. For their must be a final victory, and everyone believes they can outlive the other. We will see how quickly that line of thinking burns out and war begins once again.

(Possibly dated)-If you’re curious about how the various militaries look like, I took visual cues from Call of Duty Advanced Warfare mixed with Warhammer 40k for the Imperium(Genetically augmented 7 foot tall Power Armored soldiers with Exoskeleton weilding grunts) and Call of Duty Black Ops 3 for the EFU(Mechanized Robotic, though simple, military with elite cybornetic Super soldiers), and a more primitive Covenant style or theme mixed with Gears of War COGs for the Caliphate(they don't really have an advanced super soldier project but they do use genetically mutated slave soldiers who are really more humanistic brutes called Ogs and are actually pretty easy to produce now). If that makes any sense. Oh and if you're curious about the title, that's what inspired me oddly enough to do this.
