A 'work in progress' photo of a sketch I started at 3am this morning of Amanda Palmer.No idea if I'll finish it, but for once I'm pretty happy with my progress so chances are good.

haha yay! nah I haven't drawn anything for so long, definitely felt a little rusty and I just can't seem to shade like I used to. oh well. and yep started at 3am, probably stopped working on it around 6am so I'm going to say 3 hours so far. and that could be why I was struggling to shade. hmm.

The shading looks fine to me. Have you worked any more on it? I know what you mean though it's been so long since I've drawn properly and now I have to have 4 still life drawings done in like 5 days and I am sucking badly at it.

wow, I really suck at keeping up with my deviantART these days :/ stupid fucking boring full time job! I haven't done any more work on the Amanda sketch, haha. surprise surprise. since it's been about 5 days since you wrote this... how'd your still life drawings turn out? awesome, I bet. not long now till the T&S concert, hoorah! I'm going to have to try working 7am-3pm that day so I can get home, get changed and head back into the city on time... which means getting up at 5am. yuck. I'm going to be so exhausted at work the next day haha. not sure if Lisa is coming with me now so I might be a bit of a loner.

Yeah I am sucking at it as well. I started a stencil weeks ago and It's just so much detail I can't be bothered working on it. My still life drawings did suprisingly well. I guess it helps that all the other people in the class are first years..mostly younger than me and arn't art students.. haha. But yeah my teacher was quite impressed so I was happy. Ohhh how come lisa isn't going? That sucks. Well I will be there. My sister will be with me though
