This is a gift to the wonderful who has been a great friend over the year I have been here
I have seen her artwork and style blossom so much, and her long-time goal, something she is throwing every piece of her heart into, is the recognition of the innocence of the breed of dogs called American Pit Bull Terriers. These are gorgeous, friendly, affectionate and happy dogs that are being bred to do horrible thing such as fighting in rings. Pits get abused because people think they are dangerous dogs and thousands get killed in shelter every month because they are considered "life-threatening". One thing Maranda preaches is that "Bad dogs are not born, they are made," and this could not be more true. It is our sole fault as humans that APBTs are bred to be aggressive fighting dogs. Many of the APBTs that are born in shelters from friendly, well-treated parents turn out like Cletus, Maranda's gorgeous male APBT. He has a smile that brightens your day and eyes that no one can resist. So here's to the beauty of a loving breed and companionship at it's best, and the one girl who pours her heart into bringing to the public interest the side of APBTs that everyone loves.

Bella, this is so beautiful! Thank you. Tears weld up in my eyes as i read the wonderful praise you gave me! And are still there as i write this response. It means so much to me to know that someone is hearing what i have been preaching about pit bulls! And that you can feel all the heart i put into my pictures and even my artist's comments! Its amazing gifts like this that are so inspiring and motivating to me. Your kindness makes me want to do even more for pit bulls, and to not give up on them like so many people have. So once again, i thank you and you still amaze me with your gorgeous art!!
