Ayden is many things, but primarily he appears to be mildly bitter. He tends to hiss at strangers as they approach and puffs his feathers. Being a relatively small bird for his species, he is already a little self-conscious. Once he has managed to be settled down he can be relatively relaxed around a variety of people and creatures, though he may always remain a little fidgety. He may be slightly mischievous under the right circumstances and generally likes to give help to those that need it, if he is at all able.

Perhaps the primary reason for his sometimes sharp temperment - besides his small size - is his blindness. When he was still fledging, he attempted to fly too early and fell from the nest, hitting the back of his head. Blindness followed soon after. He is learning to deal with the disability, but is very envious of those that still have their sight.

He his never seen very far from his half sister, Paradox (reference pending).
