Description
Quick random sketch of a dragon. Blue base color pencil, 0.5 mechanical pencil.25-30 minutes if that.
I haven't drawn a dragon in a few months. Woo. Something not mechanical. I'll fix that later.
My scanner is a bit of a durp, so, things are kinda wonky. :C

I did that back in early 2009 and haven't looked back. Lol Well, lemme rephrase...I tried to play it again when the Ex came home, but it didn't work out and all I could go on about was how it was stealing my soul and my time was going away and there wasn't enough motivation to collect the pets so i ran away. xD I don't know what happened to my character...besides my Ex turned her into a He from there it's a hmm...

I just canceled it.
That's the problem I'm having. I have so many pets, mounts, gear, that I don't want to get rid of. The main reason why I stayed with the game so long was the graphics, I loved my character in her gear. Everything felt unique.
But yeah, its taken so much of my time. Time that I could of drew something up. I'd be so much better with my art if I had not gotten into the game.
Last thing I'm gonna do with my character is at least get a statue made. But other than that, I'll draw Warcraft things. But I'm done.
Ohhh.. your Ex isn't like other males who make female characters. Maybe he likes watching males run

Hehe, aww, well, I drew dragons so much as a kid. Well, more dinosaurs but, I kinda draw them the same. It's been awhile though.

Also my childhood myself loved draw dragons and dinosaurs. But, I'm always lazy drawing much scales, without scales looks weird...x'D lol

I tried, actually, last night, but didn't have it in me to go too far into it, LOL. I can scan it again as high rez and try and clean it up a little for you though. You'd be the second one wanting to color it! I'll fix it up later as i'm about to go to the gym. But yes! No problem!

Haha, but seriously...nice work here! It looks like he's climbing on something, a few things need some fixing and tweaking...but overall this is quite impressive for a sketch!

Hmmmm...no, not really. Lol... I used to draw dragons a lot.
As for the things that need fixing, it was a simple sketch. I've all ready pinpointed the things that really bugged me, played around with them, but I wasn't trying to go for super accuracy with something that popped into existence on a whim. It was mostly his jawline on one side, and some other odds and ends. Way too rusty with these things, but...dragons don't make me happy like they used too, sadly.

But wow. This guy looks amazing. For a ~30 minute sketch, it has a LOT of detailing. The horns, the scales, the boney-ness of the wings, the different textures on his snout and near the claws on his wings, it's just busting with awesome-ness.

And yeah, It just...kinda appeared out of thin air for me. I used to draw them a lot, I guess it's a shame I don't do it so much anymore but they kinda make me sad when I do draw them.

Definitely creepy. Reminds me of how dragons from "Ye Olde Days" lol look, as well as the dragon from "The Hobbit" book.

Oh god, yes. LOL. I all ways enjoyed the mean looking growly dragons, and those are what I grew up on. Not that i'm saying anything against the frilly dragons and what not around now a days, but bleh. I just end up liking mean things a bunch.
And well, it's mostly I fell out of being big into fantasy based things, even if they were a staple for me. But I agree with you, I count this as just fiddling to learn how to work the pencil better, and hopefully follow up with pens.
