I've been excited about posting this piece, but just now realized that I painted this in April, after some watercolors that I will be posting in the next few weeks. My intent was to post them in the order in which they were painted. I drew the underlying picture for this one in February, and that's where it was in my scanned portfolio. So I guess I'm posting it in the order that I did the underlying drawing. I'm only pointing this out because I think this picture represents a big difference in skill level compared to some of the others that I've posted.
I definitely feel it was my best piece when I painted it, hopefully others will agree.
