Description What started as a quick study of a Liepn buck running away from predators turned out as a revamp study on their design

Someone pointed out some "flaws" in their design and that got me wondering. They were mainly about the horns being a surplus sexual attribute and the legs being too long to be a den dweller
To be honest I don't quite agree, but then again I hold more information than the one I wrote back when I did the reference sheet. I really need to update it

Yes, I did. The character sheet was the base and I've been developing them more as a species

lol i do the exact same thing to my creatures. all the stuff i have on deviant i originality drew on paper and on the back of these papers i do the anatomy skeletal respiratory anyway you get the idea. it makes the creatures feel more alive. it isn't just enough to draw them for me anyway.

I stick with only the anatomy and skeleton. I was never much into organs and such *never learned biology in my life*

But yeah, it's important to make a good study and understand how they work

wow i have allot of trouble with the skeleton. the cool thing is that since i draw it on paper on the flip side i would do the anatomy so when you hold the picture up to the light its like an x-ray. its ok biology is important but for the most part not essential for creating creatures. speaking of which i dissected a pig today...it was gross.

Skeletons are one of my favorite parts. But there's still a lot I don't know, I'll admit it

I hate dissection and I'm happy I never done it. But ironically enough I find the traditional pig killing interesting

??? really... i mean sure they taste good. just curious but what part of it do you find interesting.
i like the skeletons too but i have found it a little complicated and difficult plus I've always had a kind of a knack for the rest of the insides.

The efficiency of the kill and separating the meat and how much of it can be used *we use every single part of the pig. Even blood*

realy what do we use the blood for?

Depends on the cultures. We use it in sausages and rice

oh i suppose that makes sense if you change cultures. back when my family lived in Africa i was offered a nice worm cup of cow blood from one of the Massai.

oh i didn't drink it, let me assure you. i would not have likely survived the experiences as it was strait out of the cow. i unfortunately had to turn it down they don't treat the blood it at all and they mix it with fomented milk

You most likely would have, if they do it. I'm not saying to drink the whole thing, but stuff like that is good to build up immunities

It looks like a bobcat, a small deer, and an Iguanodon fossil got merged together. Nifty!

Actually it's only part rabbit and goat. Other features aren't tied to any particular species

It looks great. Is it a herbivore, carnivore, or omnivore? Does it have many predators?

Herbivore, the large canines are just a bluff
And yes, most medium/large meat eaters, including humans
