I picked a mooshy titel X3. Yesterday I made a doodle while waiting till my headache finished so I could continue working on my other artwork I was working on in photoshop. Aargh, I don't understand those gamers who can sit behind their computers all day long -_-;.Anyway, the doodle come out accetable so I started coloring it, to practise a bit more with textures and stuff. And I kept coloring it, untill I finished it.
So here it is! A dragon with falling sakura leaves. And it's not even valentines day yet

Color problem can't be solved somehow :/ I changed the settings to sRGB. It still doesn't look like it should look, but it's close enough I guess >_>...

Nice rendition. Never been much of a fan of the chinese style dragons. I like the european variety. This almost looks like a mix between the two.

Sitting in front of a computer display for long periods? Get a better display. CRT (the big heavy glass ones) displays have a tendency to give headaches because of the refresh rate (measured in hertz). The lower refresh rate, the greater the chance of receiving mind-numbing headaches. I find that 70-85 hertz is a good range. I've used displays that'll support up to 200 - those things are insane! LCD Displays (the thin ones) are better overall at reducing headaches.
Another thing, endurance. I've been spending hours at a time in front of a computer for the majority of my life now - it used to give me headaches - but it stopped suddenly when I was younger. It could be that my eyes got used to it.

I tend to mix up the eastern/western design, because I like the combination.
About my computer display: I have bought a new one several months ago (the deviation you commented on is rather old) and learned alot about callibrating colors and the like. So that problem is fixed, luckily. But as you said, the lower the hertz, the worse your headaches become. And my current display has got a refresh rate of only 60 hertz, so I'm not rid of that problem yet

Most of the LCD displays only run at 60 hertz. A few of the high end model$ will run at 120 hert$ but they co$t monie$. Another thing that I've noticed is that higher resolution displays helps a lot.

Monies is what I don't have anymore, I don't want to count the number of screw-ups other people made, that damaged somepart of my system.
Burned motherboard, cracked display, broken USB portals, installed the wrong ram, overheated while overcloking, etc...
Sometimes I wish people would just keep their hands where they belong. Srsly.
Atm, I have a 24 inch screen with a 22 inch resolution. It still gives me headaches, but I too need to spend alot of time behind it. I just pray that I'll get used to it.

I love the contrast of colors and all the texture. >^.=.^< That little red dragon fits in there perfectly between the orange and the blue in the background. Its expression and pose is also priceless. This is a very memorable pic to me for some reason. Great work!

looks fine to me, color wise and everything else too, like the face expression, the textures are nice, and the eye is simple but i really like it. i could definetly see this as a good valentines day card, all it needs is a witty valentines saying.
