Background:
Yin was raised by her shamanistic grandmother in their little home deep in the woods in the Mainlands, far from civilization. She had a relatively uneventful childhood. However, when Yin was 5 a witch with a long time grudge against her grandmother cursed Yin to become a frog in revenge.
Her grandmother spent the next 10 years trying to develop a cure for her poor granddaughter but to no avail before her end. However, a few years before she passed, she was able to manipulate the curse to only turn Yin into a frog if she should become ill. Yin has since been very strict about her health to avoid being transformed into an amphibian.
Her grandmother left Yin an enchanted guardian dog to protect her should she ever fall ill from predators until she is healthy enough to return to her human state.
Yin has always had a love for cooking and tried to work in a restaurant, however, her froggy curse and giant hound made it very hard to live in the city for work. She took the savings her grandmother left her and traveled for a bit in search of possibly a witch/wizard to help break her curse using her grandmother's journals. Rail Road Island is her last destination that has been described in the journals.
Fun Facts:
- Yin has absolutely no magic what-so-ever. She can see ghosts sometimes but that's it.
- She has tried, she knows with certainty she has no magic.
- Ao Qing is very docile and lazy when Yin is in human form. He is only in work mode when his master is a frog.
- Yin has multiple texts already typed out for whenever she becomes a frog and needs someone to deliver her medicine.
- That being said, she'll take modern medicine as a last result. She has nothing against it but she believes it doesn't strengthen her system to prevent sickness from happening.
- Yin will wear her mask around others and avoid touching people.
- Yin is not afraid of getting dirty, she's just paranoid of sickness people could be carrying around.
