I dislike my new scanner... In any event, I only wanted this to be a quick sketch and it turned into a monster that I spent hours on. Damned gorgeous curly hair. Listened to lots of Soundgarden and Cornell's first solo album. I'd also like to pretend that the reference for this drawing does not come from his Timbaland debacle. That album does not exist for me. We shall speak of his temporary insanity no more.

Sometimes I feel like I "Fell on Black Days", but then I look at the "Black Hole Sun", and remember "My Wave", then I remember, "I'm "Spoonman"." Sometimes I want to "Blow Up the Outside World", and it feels like a "Burden in My Hand", but then it's like "The Day I Tried to Live" when I looked at the "Pretty Noose", and I it feels "Like Suicide". I want my "Hands All Over" the beautiful portrait, and I feel like I'm being "Hunted Down", and I feel the "Black Rain" across my face while being "Outshined", and stuck in a "Rusty Cage" with my "Jesus Christ Pose", as I walked to the church to see the "Birth Ritual".
So many Soundgarden songs.

Oh god, tough question... I'm partial to stuff from Badmotorfinger & Superunknown. 4th of July and Mind Riot come to mind, but those two albums as a whole are full of favorites.

I love every intricate detail of this! You always give such great attention to detail hon. It's really a great likeness unto him. I cannot even imagine the amount of time you must have spent on this. I hope it did not put too much of a strain on your eyes, however, it's always great to see you creating and drawing when you are able to do so

Very tragic! I was ssooooo disappointed. I bought a stack of his albums that day and when I popped that one in I had to double check and make sure it was Chris Cornell. I was pissed I wasted my money on that one, but I enjoy his other ones. I think #1 Zero is one of my favorite songs.

Audioslave for the most part didn't excite me, though there are a few exceptional songs. I'm just not a big fan of Tom Morello's guitar playing. I find him so overrated.
