I've been reading the "His Dark Materials" book trilogy and I've almost finished the final book. I figured after reading about the characters for the last month or so I should draw them. Here is Lyra and Pantalaimon with Iorek. The movie was ok but read the books, they are much better!Related content

Do you like "His Darks Materials"?! Those are my favourite books. Phillip Pullman did a great job, specially with the last book.

Really? I was so suprised at how well they casted a Lyra, personally. Nicole Kidman as Mrs Coulter was inevitable and for good reason, too... and Serefina... Only the minor characters I thought were badly cast.

Aren't books supposed to be better?!? I shall have to check out the books. Haven't seen the movie and probably won't. I have to be selective in spending money right now. Books are worth the money more so than movies. I love this pic.

i saw the movie....and thought it was terrible
it cut out so much of the book
and some of the really important parts
the book was so much better
