haven't been posting much stuf here. probly cuz i'm surprisingly becoming serious with my schooling. weird. anyway, old drawing. looking at her actually makes me wonder why i drew them so thinly before. and, ugh, can't seem to colour it properly. hopefully asymptotically nouveau.it's a follow-up on this: [link]

I looove the muted color pallet. The pastelley-ness. It's not too bright, but just colorful enough to be great. It reminds me of dinner mints.

I looked at the picture again, and I have more to add.
I find it very interesting that you balanced the picture with the figure to the right, and the abstract "lacework" to the left on the opposite side of the border. Very effective, and I technique I would not have thought of. I'll have to try that at some point, too.

I think this is really lovely. I love the style! I have always liked this style, and I think you use it very effectively here.
I like how thin she is. It adds to her sense of grace and elegance. Your gentle color choices add to this, as well.

You do know how to create some most beautiful ornaments! She's slim indeed... but it makes the chracter more fairy. I like the framing idea. This one could make a great greeting card, you know. Dunno,why i think so..

love the neo-art nouveau kinda style you're working on, and of course i love the subject matter since i'm a harpist/harper/harpy, whatever ha ha ha.... she is crazy thin though, and i know that's been a matter of aethetics/style for you (i'm /-happy today aren't I?) but its especially weird in art-nouveau inspired pieces because the art from teh time was never exaggerated in quite teh same way....which does make it your own, though it also works against you, depending on what you wanted the over-all feel of the piece to be.
