Description My character that i'm still working on. I will add his profile descriptions later when I have the time again and add the rest of his other body designs when finished. For now this will have to do. I'm still not quite satisfied with his name though, suggestions are welcome.

I'm actually very proud on how his wings turned out. not just trying to keep the wing shape close to that of a falcon, but also by adding the longer inner primaries giving the wings a peculiar shape at the same time and uniqueness. The long inner primaries are mostly there for attracting a mate.

"Avian angel," is that correct regarding the translation of your character's name? I hope I'm not being too bold, but maybe "Aviangelis" could be part of the species' name for the character, instead of a personal name? Either way, he has a gorgeous character design, Wings-of-the-Heavens, and I'm a bit jealous that you've actually seen Pennant-Winged Nightjars in the wild!

Hmm.. that is actually not a bad idea. I will keep that in mind. The name still feels a bit too familiar so I'm still banging my head against a wall hoping a good unique name will spark out.. I'm so bad with names

eee, i love the unusual shape of the wings!
i also didn't know that there are birds with wings like that - that's really fascinating. <3
anyway, it's a really lovely design with all those natural looking markings and pretty colors. c:

Thanks jip, you do get some amazing birds around the world. I was really surprised that there were so few pictures of these nocturnal birds on the web. Usually you'll sight theses birds on the roads at night here

Aryx, Skrah, and Syreeus sounds awesome! I don't know why, but the names i come up with I end up not liking them myself.
Don't know but that's probably just me haha. Shehann was one too but i guess I'll save that for a female.Β

Thats an extremely well thought out design! I have to say Ive never seen such a unique feathered wing concept before, really well done! The tail fan and tip really add to the look of the creature and add that extra realistic factor that make it look like it could fly really well! Beautiful anatomy too, well done!!

The design was partially inspired by a Pennant Winged Nightjar, a nocturnal bird I grew up seeing all my life. Interesting that not many people seems to know about them.

Jou karakter lyk ook goed, maar dis jou keuse. Ek het maar net die kleure wat ek baie van hou gebruik en met gevoel gekleur. So om te se my gevoelens is in die kleure, en net so ook in sy ontwerp. Hy present my of om te se - hy is ek. :>

Dis basies waar twee of meer mense met hul karakters saam 'n verhaal skryf

Dit klink na fun. Ek is nie baie van n skrywer nie maar ek probeer ma my bes as dit kom om my karakters te beskryf. Ek het n pel wat my sal help om n ordentlike beskrywende biography uit te le vir hierde karakter en nog n andr paar waarmee ek nog besig is. Hy het al sy eie boek geskryf nogals, wat hy een of ander tyd wil release.

dis lekker om so n fliek te kyk soms op sy dyd, al is dit nie my smaak nie

Dit is so, hartseer ek on nie my friend se boek lees nie. Hy he sopas dit klaar geskryf en alles op sy external drive ge-backup, maar to het sy pa iets met die drive aan gevang ek weet nie wat nie, breek die drive en verloor alles, nou moet jy die hele 500 bladsei boek oor skryf wat dalk n paar jare sal vat terwyl hy besig is met sy studies.

Dis reedelik laat om dit te se maar geseende kersvees en voorspoedige nuwe jaar vir jou . So is dit ook mos die nuwe Mayan era. jammer oor die laat reply.

Haha! jip, jy moet lees van die mal dinge wat om die wereld aan gegaan het op die 21ste en die paar dae voor dit, jy gaan baie lag

Die goed was nog nie geprint nie so alles is verloor, maar my pel se hy ondhou nog alles darem so hy gaan maar net weer skryf. Interesant sy pa was nie regtig keen op die idee dat hy n boek wou skryf nie, maar toe sy pa dele van die boek wat klaar geskryf is gelees het was hy baie impress met hom en hom probeer inspereer om die book klaar te maak. So sy pa was jammer oor wat gebeur het.
Dit herinder my nou ek moet nog sy concept sketse klaar maak vir sy boek.
