Meet: Tryllcian!! The ultimate boss-est character ever of sci-fi from 's awesome book 'The Spyder in the Cracked Mirror'!I've always loved spiders, so, what could be more awesome? Half-man half-spider= Spyder!!
Immensely fun to design, a sweet character, and a great excuse to further study arachnids, (aka look at spider pictures)- I started and finished this bad boy in one day. 
Hope I did Master Tryllcian justice!!

I love how you gave him a bit of your own design. I'm loving all the details on him. 
And I agree with Nor. Feels like we're seeing through Niv's eyes. Tryllcian looks quite big and intimidating.

I tried a couple different angles, mostly even farther below his eye level- but as those tended to obscure his six pack and chestiness...well ya know.

I yelped so loud when I first saw this that my little boy came running to see what was up. This is INCREDIBLE!
Look at all those lovely details! The overlapping armor plates on his legs, that beautiful armor design on his torso. That crown! That glare! Those shadows! He's perfect!

Oh my, he is positively stunning! I really love the perspective; it creates just the right kind of intimidating impression. The viewer is definitely in Niv's shoes right now.

I love spiders, so it was great fun to deal with a big one that wasn't all slimy and nasty like Shelob.
