Description
Exclusive planktivore terestrial stylophoran which uses its long 'neck' to capture caligoplankton. It reaches this impressive size by co-opting the bottom part of its pseudooesophagus into a pulmonic cavity. The caveat from this is that it no longer is able to graze - the tube feet which stick out from its bottom end are solely for drinking water or excretion. The two largest tube feet behave like a kidney dialysis machine; they primarily use diffusion to get rid of metabolic waste.
The hive omichlisk forms a mutualistic relationship with small social ophiocistioid fliers which carry an electric ability. Though individually they are but a slight inconvinience, groups of them in constant harassment often disorientate or even temporarily incompacitate any would-be predators by overloading their electroreceptors. These fliers live within the bottom most part of the hive omichlisk's pseudoesophagal cavity and are signalled to strike by the hive omichlisk's own electric signal. In return for defence, the omichlisk offers its residents nutricious blood-filled tube feet as a source of food.

This post is an exercise in speculative evolution about an alien space station populated by monstrocities decended from Middle Devonian creatures.
