great images you have.
How is it that when you take your exposure all this seconds that the "negative" wrights down the light from your flashlight, but doesn't catch you, who is standing still ?

this is a great photo just like 'beam me up scotty' i really like it. BUT i always thought that when taking a picture with long exposure and you move around that you would 'fill up' the picture...??? i guess thats not what happens...

hey, thanks a lot for commenting!
actually, when moving around in a long exposure picture, one becomes less "solid" /more transparent. you can see that clearly in Beam me up, Scotty , where my feet are rather solid (i hardly moved them), whereas my torso is nearly invisible, because i was bent over most of the time to do my thing with the LED headlamp...
one could go for other effects, like standing still, lighting oneself using a flash, move somewhere else, flash, and so forth...

those shutter times aren't that slow really, you must be drawing pretty fast!

I am very happy to see a beautifull work like this. I think it's awesome how you manage to draw a flower, using two differents lights, for two differents colors. I'm impressed by a shot like this because I've been experimenting some long exposure shots recently with a 10-30 seconds shutter, using a lighter to draw my user name, I know how hard it is to do something blindly in the air in a short time. Your work is awesome, feel free to comment on my latest: Smokin' game
nice to know you
Philippe
