Menolly is my absolute favorite Pern character to draw
This one took quite a while... I usually lose patience with digital paintings really quickly so I'm surprised I got this far. Several photo refs for the background.

I always loved Menolly. Pern has such strong women to look up to, but she really takes the cake. I like the way that you kept the light soft and made beauty's eyes match the mood of the scene. You have a greatly detailed use of negative space. Beautifully done.

You're so welcome! No, you really did a fantastic job. People's posture can change depending on the size of the harp, so I wouldn't be too worried about it. Her posture in this makes sense because of both the size of her harp and the fact that it's resting on the ground as opposed to being propped up by something.

is that a fire lizard or a really tiny dragon... i havent seen pictures of fire lizards yet. besides that, that picture is gorgeous
