Amazing! I love your trick or treating pictures. The assortment of costumes is awesome. I wish kids actually dressed like ghosts and ghouls still - instead of just pop-culture stuff.

I know what you mean about too many pop-culture Halloween costumes. But my neighborhood seems pretty cool... We got a few trick or treaters this year dressed as Grim Reapers and vampires.

That's awesome! I think we had a scary clown or two.
Our first two Trick or Treaters this year were dressed as Elsa from Frozen.

Ha, thanks! I was trying to think of something extra to do with that skeleton and decided to make bats roosting inside him. Haha.
But my favorite character on this whole piece is the Wolf Kid. He made me laugh even while I was drawing him.

Terrific! Great characters again, although you have a really cute one in the black cat. Great use of the bats. Wonderful job, very festive!

Thanks! The black-cat girl was inspired by two things.
1.) My wife did an adorable black cat costume for Halloween in 2010. A different design of costume but the same idea. In one of our photos she did a pose like this that I thought was the cutest thing in the world, so I borrowed her pose.
2.) I saw an old vintage Halloween party illustration of a cute lady in a rabbit costume, where the costume was like a plush, furry, one-piece pajamas, with rabbit ears on the hood. It looked so cuddly that I borrowed that idea and adapted it into a cat lady.
