Description
Here is the Wild Kratts researching on one of the smallest Sauropods of the Late Cretaceous: Magyarosaurus.
Magyarosaurus was a species of Titanosaur that lived on Hateg Island in Europe. But surprisingly, Magyarosaurus is a dwarf compared to its larger mainland cousins.
Magyarosaurus was actually no taller than a pony and 20 feet long and weighing a ton. Making it a hundredth of the weight of its colossal cousin, Argentinosaurus.
Many dinosaurs on Hateg were an example of island dwarfism.
