Short story is, she had just transferred to this other planet, and the temperatures had dropped severely once the sun went down. She was standing guard, but it was getting too cold for her, and she didn't want to interrupt her commander (whom she was standing watch for), so she accepted Ironhide's invitation to lean against him.
